*** HOUSE REZ INSTRUCTIONS ***

1. Rez the Ancient Homelands Sky House object. There is a little semi-transparent black arrow on the wood plank. Point the arrow towards where you want the front door to be.

2. If the blue menu is not visible, click the wood plank and select "Rez" from the menu. Wait while the entire structure rezzes and then snaps into position. If, due some weird SL moment in time, the building did not rez properly, just de-rez it and rez again.

3. Move and rotate the Ancient Homelands Sky House rezzer object into position, and the house will move to follow it.

4. When you're done, click "Save", which will freeze your build into position. You may then take the Ancient Homelands Sky House object back into inventory or delete it. If your Ancient Homelands building has Copy properties, we recommend you take it back into inventory.

5. Optionally you can select “Ignore” on the rezzer menu and leave the Ancient Homelands Sky House object where it is, use the building for as long as you need to, and de-rez it at any time by again clicking on the rezzer. This is particularly helpful when using the building in a public sandbox or if it’s a temporary building on your land. This leaves the wood plank looking like the front steps on the house and only the house owner can click the wood plank and rez or de-rez the house.

6. You may also choose to "Store" your build, which, along with saving, will store the position and rotation of every link set in the object's description. You may need this information if the objects "drift".

NOTE: Additional information is available in the Help note card found in the contents of the house rezzer.

*** HOUSE CONTROLS, FURNITURE AND TELEPORT ***

The Ancient Homelands Sky House has five control panels linked into the house. Four are located on the left inside wall before you walk into the main room. One is on the roof on the left side directly above the other four.

The five house control panels are:
1. Control Panel (controls doors, windows and lights)
2. Furniture (rezzes the furniture included with the house)
3. Balcony (teleport up to balcony)
4. Roof (teleport up to roof)
5. Down (teleport down from roof)

CONTROL PANEL
(a) Options – Add, remove, group, everyone and list buttons are ONLY for access to the control panel. Options IS NOT for access to the doors. To add someone to the doors you must add their name to the control panel. To use the Options you follow the instructions in chat.

Group access: this allows anyone in the same group as the Control Panel to control the Control Panel.
No group: This restricts users to only those named in the access list and the owner.
Everyone: Allows anyone to use the Control Panel to control the house components. (doors, windows, lights, textures)
Add name: Add a name to the access list. This avatar will be able to use the Control Panel even in group or no-group mode.
Remove: Remove a name from the access list.

(b) Doors – Lock or Unlock.
(c) Lights – On or Off with choice of 9 light colors.
(d) Windows – Open or Closed.

FURNITURE AND SEATING
There are 10 furniture choices. You can rez and de-rez individual pieces or rez and de-rez all at once. You rez individual furniture by clicking on the numbered buttons that corresponds to the list above the buttons.

Furniture and Seating Facts
(a) If you move a rezzed piece of furniture it will save its position and the next time it is rezzed it will rez in the position you moved it to.
(b) If you rez furniture and move or take the house back into inventory, the furniture will stay behind and you can either delete it or move it to where the house is and it will remember its new location. If you have rezzed furniture and take the house back into inventory you can delete the remaining furniture. The furniture rezzer still has the furniture inside of it and will rez in its proper position the next time.
(c) Circular Seating – These seats are linked to the house. You can see the individual seating places by editing the entire house and the yellow lines will show you where the individual seating places are. To use the seats, just point your mouse at a place in the circular seating area and right click and select Sit Here. You will be offered a list of 6 sitting animations. You can change the animation at any time by clicking the spot where you are sitting. To adjust your camera view to the default sitting view, press the Esc key on your keyboard.
(d) Balcony Seating – The two chairs both have texture changers built in. The owner can touch the chair and change the texture. The two chairs have different sitting animations. Right click and select Sit Here for a chair. To adjust your camera view to the default sitting view, press the Esc key on your keyboard.
(e) Balcony and Front Porch Benches - Right click and select Sit Here for a bench. To adjust your camera view to the default sitting view, press the Esc key on your keyboard.
(f) Rugs - The owner of the house can click on a rug and change the texture.

TELEPORT
The three teleporters are linked to the house. With a linked teleporter you will not get the “Teleport” text when you right click on it. You will get “Sit Here”. To use a linked teleporter, put your mouse directly on the face of the teleporter, right click and select Sit Here. The teleporters were linked to the house to make it easier to setup the house and to move it.

(a) Balcony teleport take you up to the balcony from the main floor. There is no teleport down from the balcony, you just walk off the balcony and drop down to the main floor or use the door on the balcony.
(b) Roof teleport takes you from the main floor to the roof of the house.
(c) The Down teleport from the roof takes you to the main floor of the house.

After you teleport and your camera is not where it should be, press Esc on your keyboard.

Teleport Notes:
The position you teleport to is relative to the position of the teleporter. If you unlink the teleporters and move them, your teleport location will move. If your house has been positioned to where it will stay and you want the teleport text to say “Teleport”, right click on the teleporter, Select Linked Object, highlight only that linked object and press Ctrl-Shift-L on your keyboard to unlink it from the house. To relink the teleport do the same but press Ctrl-L. Just make sure before you unlink anything in a linked house, that what you want to unlink is the only thing that has the yellow highlight lines around it.

MULTIPLE ANCIENT HOMELANDS SKY HOUSES ON SAME SIM
Please contact Ancient Homelands customer support in our store or IM Ancient1 Aeon and we will change your channel for you. Or you can do it yourself.

Every component (doors, windows, lights, textures) in this building must have the same chat offset for the Control Panel to work. If 2 or more Ancient Homelands buildings using the Control Panel system are near each other then each should have a different chat offset so that the Control Panel in each house do not interfere with each other.

DO NOT change the Chat offset while on the same sim or within chat distance of another Ancient Homelands building, you will also change the other buildings. We highly suggest you go to a public sandbox, rez the house, do not save the settings, change the Chat offset and de-rez the building. Then go to where you want to have your building and rez it.

You can change the Chat offset through voice command. The default chat offset for Ancient Homelands buildings using the Control Panel is 5108

The chat offset can be changed quickly through voice command. Say the command "channel offset 5108" on the current channel offset.

For example, if the current offset is 5108, and you want to change it to 2000, you would type:

/5108 channel offset 2000

into general chat. This will change the channel offset for all Ancient Homelands house components using the Control Panel.

You can also bring up the menu by saying /5108 menu.

CAUTION: If you change the channel offset using this voice command, be aware that if you reset the script in one of the house components (doors, windows, lights, textures) it may go back to the original channel offset defined in the config note card. This could result in that house component no longer responding. If this happens, you will need to change the channel offset in the note card to match the offset used by the Control Panel system.
