REZZER HELP
Instructions for Ancient Homelands Buildings
Ancient Homelands buildings use the Rez-Faux system. Simply by moving the Ancient Homelands building object, your entire structure will move to match it. This helps you avoid the problems inherent in moving and rotating large selections, and helps you recover your structure later if it's damaged or lost.
Using this Ancient Homelands package, you will be able to rez the build that you've received and position and rotate it as easily as if it were completely linked. Most of this building is linked, but some parts are not.
FOR SUPPORT ON THIS BUILDING CONTACT ONLY ANCIENT1 AEON.
PLEASE **** DO NOT CONTACT LEX NEVA FOR HELP **** WITH THIS BUILDING.
To set up your building:
1. Rez the Ancient Homelands Sky House object. There is a little semi-transparent black arrow on the wood plank. Point the arrow towards where you want the front door to be.
2. If the blue menu is not visible, click the wood plank and select "Rez" from the menu. Wait while the entire structure rezzes and then snaps into position. If, due some weird SL moment in time, the building did not rez properly, just de-rez it and rez again.
3. Move and rotate the Ancient Homelands Sky House rezzer object into position, and the house will move to follow it.
4. When you're done, click "Save", which will freeze your build into position. You may then take the Ancient Homelands Sky House object back into inventory or delete it. If your Ancient Homelands building has Copy properties, we recommend you take it back into inventory.
5. Optionally you can select “Ignore” on the rezzer menu and leave the Ancient Homelands Sky House object where it is, use the building for as long as you need to, and de-rez it at any time by again clicking on the rezzer. This is particularly helpful when using the building in a public sandbox or if it’s a temporary building on your land. This leaves the wood plank looking like the front steps on the house and only the house owner can click the wood plank and rez or de-rez the house.
6. You may also choose to "Store" your build, which, along with saving, will store the position and rotation of every link set in the object's description. You may need this information if the objects "drift".
**** Troubleshooting ****
The structure is scrunched against the ground.
If the pieces would end up below the ground, they'll "give up" and sit at ground level. Move or rotate the Ancient Homelands building object to lift them out.
The structure is scrunched against the sim border.
If you're at the very edge of the world, the pieces may try to fall off into the void, but they'll stop themselves before they go that far. Move or rotate the Ancient Homelands building object away from the edge of the world to fix this
I lost a piece of the structure!
If your pieces end up over a neighbor's plot with auto return on, they may return to your inventory. Just de-rez the structure, move the Ancient Homelands building object, and re-rez it.
Why does the package say that it's empty?
If the creator decided to distribute their build without copy permissions, then you may only rez and position it once. After that, the empty package is of no use and may be deleted. Please contact Ancient1 Aeon for help.
The building does not look like it’s supposed to. I don’t think it rezzed correctly.
Sometimes in SL things don’t always work at the moment you expect them to work. De-rez the building and rez it again. The Rez-Faux system is perfect, the building was packaged perfectly and it should rez perfectly.
